These are both Business Management Systems. They have the capacity to deal with  ordering, capturing orders, reconciling with the payments office, releasing the order, creating the invoice and dispatching the goods. They also have the capacity to deal with manufacturing, enabling management to obtain an overall view of stocks that are being used and the products coming off the assembly line.

Sage ERP X3, the newest Sage product to come to Zimbabwe, is aimed at meeting the most elaborate business processes, while remaining cost-effective, quick to implement and simple to use. It is a web-based solution that gives standardised ERP functionality with integrated financial accounting and global support for all international markets.

It allows one not only to organise internal processes but to control information exchanged between external partners, including customers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Sage ERP X3 is new to Zimbabwe but is already being used in 35 countries worldwide.  It makes business management more flexible in every respect, according to Chips Computing Services managing director Rob Watson.
